Barca host their bitter rivals at the Nou Camp in a match that could prove decisive in the La Liga title race with Real four points clear at the top with five games left.
Guardiola, who ran Barca's midfield in the 1990s much in the same way Xavi does now, has an impressive record in 'Clasicos' as a coach, leading the current Spanish and European champions to nine wins, four draws and just a single defeat in all competitions since taking charge in 2008.
Spain's - perhaps even the world's - biggest domestic club game gets underway on Saturday as Barcelona host Real Madrid in a Clasico that will go a long way to deciding who will walk away with the league title this season.
With Barcelona sitting four points behind their great rivals in second place, a win would close the gap to one and really crank up the pressure on Jose Mourinho's men. Neither have had to worry about qualification for the Champions League for a long time as Barca are 29 points ahead of third-placed Valencia and, having both played in midweek, are also in with a chance of winning Europe's top club competition as well. Despite Real losing 2-1 to Bayern and Barcelona 1-0 at Chelsea, though, the focus for the weekend is firmly back on the league.

Real Zaragoza striker Helder Postiga wants his side's shock victory over high-flying Espanyol last time out can kick-start their fight to escape relegation.

Zaragoza had gone 16 league and cup games without a win heading into Monday's trip to Espanyol but second-half goals from Paulo da Silva and Juan Carlos earned them a first victory since October 16.
